Mick Wade

Instrument - Drums

Born
- Quote: "Musicians are suppose to be evasive about this question, and who am I to argue with tradition."

Family
- Two Children

Hobbies
- Music pretty much takes up all his spare time, as he runs his own studio and is member of two other bands besides Two-Way-Traffic (Empire & Metalfower). Aside from that , he always enjoys spending time with his children, traveling, reading, learning more about his computer, watching anything good on TV ( sports, educational programs, movies) or at the theater, and attending live entertainment events.

Musical Influences
- He could easily fill up this page with the names of artists that have influenced him, but some of the standouts are Pink Floyd, Rush, Led Zepplin & King Crimson. Some of his favorite drummers are Neil Peart, John Bonham, Stewart Copeland and Bill Bruford.

Musical Background - He joined the band in March 2001.

Mick's Message -
Performing good music can take you to other spiritual and even physical planes. It's something you have to embrace; it won't happen on its own. Jimmy Hendrix spoke of the "healing power of music", and I'm a big believer in that concept. Playing the drums is also very athletic and therapeutic -- there's no better instrument to take your frustrations out on. Lastly, it's rather hard to explain, the feeling of empowerment you receive when you know that you have moved someone with your music and that, in my case, you were responsible for the tempo of their heart for a moment in time.
